Your gluten-free Easter menu is right here 🐣

Hi Reader!

Easter is this weekend, and whether you're hosting brunch, putting together a big dinner, or just need something fun to bake, I've got you covered. These are my favorite gluten-free recipes for the holiday, from Easter morning all the way through dessert.

Gluten-Free Mini Egg Blondies

Buttery, chewy blondies loaded with chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs and topped with whole ones so you can see the egg shape. You can have them in the oven in under 10 minutes. They're the first thing gone every time.

Gluten-Free Carrot Cake

My favorite Easter dessert, full stop. Incredibly moist, perfectly spiced, and topped with a tangy cream cheese frosting that isn't too sweet. This cake tastes even better the next day, so bake the layers ahead of time and frost it the morning of.

Gluten-Free Coconut Macaroons

These are on my Easter dessert spread every year and they couldn't be easier to make. No flour, no specialty blends, just coconut, egg whites, and pantry staples. Crispy on the outside, chewy in the center, and dipped in dark chocolate. 30 minutes start to finish.

Gluten-Free Scalloped Potatoes

Creamy, cheesy, and completely gluten-free. This is the side dish that belongs right next to the ham every single Easter. Yukon Gold potatoes layered in a rich cheddar and parmesan sauce. You can assemble it the day before and bake when you're ready, which makes the whole day a lot easier.

Roasted Rainbow Carrots with Lemon Tahini Sauce

I don't cook with rainbow carrots very often, but whenever I see them at the grocery store I just have to buy them, and Easter is the perfect excuse. Roasted until tender and caramelized, then drizzled with a simple lemon tahini sauce. On the table in under 30 minutes and they look stunning. Regular orange carrots work just as well if you can't find rainbow ones.

Easter Egg Sugar Cookies

If you're baking with kids this weekend, these are the ones to make. Buttery gluten-free sugar cookies cut into egg shapes and decorated with royal icing. I even have a step-by-step design you can follow if you want them to look exactly like mine.

Gluten-Free Dinner Rolls

Soft, fluffy, pull-apart, and brushed with butter right out of the oven. After years of testing gluten-free yeast doughs, this is the dinner roll recipe I keep coming back to. They bake up golden every time and taste just like the ones you remember. These are best the day they're made, so plan to bake them fresh.

Gluten-Free Crescent Rolls

If you want to go all out on the bread basket this year, make the crescent rolls too. Flaky, layered, and buttery. They take more effort than the dinner rolls but they are absolutely worth it. Serve them warm with a little honey butter.

Gluten-Free Quiche Lorraine

A flaky homemade gluten-free pie crust filled with crispy bacon, sautéed onions, and creamy Gruyère. You can bake it the day before and just reheat it the morning of. One less thing to think about.

Gluten-Free Lemon Bars

If you want something bright and springy alongside the carrot cake, make these. Tart lemon curd on a buttery shortbread base. They look great on a platter and are way easier than they look.

A quick note on Easter ham: Not all glazed or pre-seasoned hams are gluten-free. Gluten can hide in the glaze packet or spice mix, so always check the label before you buy. Plain, uncured ham is usually a safe bet, and most stores carry options that are clearly labeled gluten-free.

Hope your Easter weekend is full of good food and good people. Hit reply and let me know what you're making, I always love to hear what's on your table! 🐣

Hi Reader! Biscuits were one of the first things I missed after my celiac diagnosis. They seem simple, but getting a gluten-free version that actually rises and layers took me a lot of testing to figure out. I tested four different flour blends and Cup4Cup was the clear winner for texture, rise, and flavor. The technique matters just as much as the flour. Cold grated butter, a simple lamination step, and freezing the cut biscuits before they go in the oven are what give you real flaky layers....

Hi Reader! I took my gluten-free chicken pot pie filling and my gluten-free cheddar drop biscuits (with a Cheddar Bay makeover), combined them into one cast iron skillet, and it might be my new favorite thing I've ever made. This is a cobbler-style pot pie with a thick, creamy chicken filling topped with fluffy Cheddar Bay drop biscuits and finished with a melted garlic butter brush straight out of the oven. Completely gluten-free and so comforting. Grab the Recipe Here If you make this, I'd...
