🍂 Fall already? Gluten-Free Recipes to Kick Off Autumn

Can you believe it’s already the second day of fall? 🍁

My kitchen is officially in cozy-mode even though its 80 degrees here in Chicago — which means chili simmering on the stove top, warm spices, and plenty of gluten-free baking.

If you’re craving something seasonal, here are a few of my favorite gluten-free recipes to kick off autumn:

  • Gluten-Free Shepherd's Pie - Layers of creamy mashed potatoes, savory ground beef, and tender vegetables baked together for the ultimate fall comfort meal.
  • Gluten-Free Pot Roast – Slow-braised beef that’s melt-in-your-mouth tender, cooked with carrots, onions, and potatoes in a rich, flavorful gluten-free gravy.
  • Gluten-Free Apple Fritters – Golden, crispy bites of fried dough filled with juicy apple chunks, drizzled with a sweet glaze — like fall at the apple orchard in dessert form.
  • Gluten-Free Pumpkin Cookies - Soft and pillowy cookies full of pumpkin spice flavor, topped with a tangy cream cheese frosting for the perfect fall treat.
  • Gluten-Free Pumpkin Bread - Moist and tender pumpkin bread with just the right amount of warm spices — a cozy slice that pairs perfectly with your morning coffee.
  • Gluten-Free Apple Cake - A moist, single-layer cake loaded with fresh apples and cinnamon. No frosting needed — it’s deliciously simple and perfect for fall gatherings.

Whether you’re craving something savory and comforting or a pumpkin-spiced treat, there’s a gluten-free recipe here for every fall mood!

Happy Fall!

There have been so many comments of those who...

Hi Reader! If you’ve been missing real cinnamon rolls since going gluten-free… this one’s for you. These gluten-free cinnamon rolls are soft, fluffy, and topped with cream cheese frosting that melts right into the spirals. I tested them again and again to make sure they taste just like the ones you remember — not just good for gluten-free, but truly good. What Makes This Recipe Different This recipe also takes a different approach than most gluten-free cinnamon rolls you’ll find online....

Hi Reader! Last weekend, we packed up the car and drove to Wisconsin for a little fall adventure—apple picking! My toddler had the best time walking through the orchard, carefully picking apples off the trees, and taking enthusiastic bites out of each one she grabbed. They’re all perfect for both snacking and baking, so naturally I started dreaming up what to...
