Your gluten-free Labor Day menu is right here

Hi Reader!

Labor Day weekend is here, and I want to make sure you have everything you need to close out summer the right way. Here's a full gluten-free cookout menu, from the buns to the dessert. This is the last big cookout weekend of the summer, and I think it deserves a really good spread. I put together six of my favorite recipes so you have everything covered, all completely gluten-free.

Gluten-Free Hamburger Buns

The burger is only as good as the bun, and these ones can actually hold their own. Soft, pillowy, and sturdy enough to handle all your toppings without falling apart the second you pick it up.

Gluten-Free Hot Dog Buns

This is the same dough as my hamburger buns, just shaped differently, and you get eight instead of six. Make a double batch and freeze half so you always have some ready to go!

Gluten-Free Garlic Butter Focaccia

Same dough as the hamburger buns, just shaped differently. If you're already making one, you might as well make both. I always freeze the extras and pull them out all fall.

Gluten-Free Pasta Salad

Make it the night before, toss it in the fridge, and you're done. It actually gets better as it sits, which makes it one of my favorite things to bring to a cookout. Loaded with salami, fresh mozzarella, olives, and tomatoes!

Gluten-Free Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie

Creamy filling, fresh strawberries, flaky crust. The kind of dessert that makes people ask for the recipe, and you get to tell them it's gluten-free.

Gluten-Free S'mores Bars

All the flavors of s'mores without the campfire. Make them ahead, cut them into squares, and bring them to the party still in the pan. They travel well and nobody ever guesses they're gluten-free.

Enjoy the last bit of summer!
— Meg

P.S. I also just dropped my gluten-free blueberry bagel recipe yesterday. Bagels and a long weekend? Highly recommend.

Hi Reader! As soon as I posted my Gluten-Free Bagels recipe, the number one request landed in my inbox and DMs within days... could I make a blueberry version? Grab the Recipe Here I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I got to work adapting the dough. Old habits die hard, so the former accountant in me went straight for the math instead of just guessing. Blueberries are about 85% water, so I swapped 170g of fresh blueberries in for the 140g of water in the original recipe, lightly mashed and...
