7 kitchen tools I use that are on sale for Prime Day

Hi Reader!

Amazon Prime Day is today and tomorrow, and a bunch of the kitchen tools I use all the time are Prime Big Deals right now. Here are the ones worth grabbing!

TempPro TempSwift Thermometer (affiliate link)
I use this for everything... cakes, muffins, quick breads, and yeast breads. It's the best way to know if my baked goods are done. No more guessing!

TempPro TempDip Deep Fry Thermometer (affiliate link)
This is what I use to keep my oil at the right temperature when I'm frying, like for my gluten-free donuts.

Pre-Cut Parchment Paper Sheets (affiliate link)
With holiday baking coming up, I literally cannot be bothered to rip parchment paper off a roll that never stays flat. These fit my sheet pans exactly, like for my gluten-free oatmeal raisin cookies. Perfect time to stock up!

Fish Spatula (affiliate link)
Don't let the name fool you. I use my fish spatula for SO many things! It's thin and flexible, so it slides right under cookies without breaking them, flips pancakes and eggs perfectly, and yes, it's great for fish too. It's the spatula I reach for the most in my kitchen.

GIR Silicone Pastry Brush (affiliate link)
I used to use a different pastry brush, but I hated finding bristles in my focaccia. I was worried silicone wouldn't give me the coverage I needed, but it absolutely does! I use it for butter, egg wash, and brushing the tops of my gluten-free buttermilk biscuits.

Stainless Steel Dough Hook (affiliate link)
I used the enameled dough hook that came with my KitchenAid mixer for 15+ years, but it started chipping. I love this stainless steel one instead! It's so worth it for thick gluten-free bread doughs like my bagels. If you have a KitchenAid tilt-head mixer, this is a great upgrade.

USA Pan 9-Inch Pie Pan (affiliate link)
I've made A LOT of pies (I did a pie theme for each of my daughter's monthly milestones after she was born!) and tried so many different pie pans... glass, ceramic, metal. Metal pie pans give me consistent results every time, and I love how my pies bake in this USA Pan, so it's the only one I use now. It's what I used for my gluten-free purple sweet potato pie. I'm snagging a few more for holiday baking!

Prices change all day during Prime Day, so be sure to check before you buy! Everything else I use, including my pans, scale, and flours, is in my Amazon storefront.

Happy baking!
-Meg

Golden gluten-free pumpkin bagels topped with pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, and sea salt on parchment paper

Hi Reader! Pumpkin bagels are here! My new gluten-free pumpkin bagels just went live, and I can't stop making them! They're a fall spin on my New York-style gluten-free bagels. The dough is almost the same (brown rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, and psyllium husk), but I swapped some of the water for pumpkin puree and added pumpkin pie spice. They still get boiled, so you get that shiny crust and chewy bite you want in a real bagel. They're not overly sweet either. They still taste...

Bowl of sweet potato turkey chili topped with avocado, jalapeño, and sour cream

Hi Reader! Soup season is officially here, and I want to set you up with some cozy dinners for the week ahead. I pulled together six of my favorite soups, stews, and chilis, from set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker chili to a 30-minute Italian sausage stew. Every single one is completely gluten-free. Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Turkey Chili Tender sweet potatoes, lean ground turkey, black beans, and a smoky spice blend. Set it on low in the morning and it's ready by dinner. Gluten-free cinnamon pull apart bread with cream cheese frosting dripping down the sides

Hi Reader! I'm so excited to share this one with you! My new gluten-free cinnamon pull apart bread is live, and it's SO good. It has everything I love about my gluten-free cinnamon rolls, but it's even easier to make. You roll out the dough, cover it in butter and cinnamon sugar, stack it in a loaf pan, and bake. Then it gets a drizzle of cream cheese frosting. Every piece pulls apart just like regular bread. The dough uses my homemade flour blend (brown rice flour, tapioca starch, and potato...
